“He moved his cameras to the sides like it was his MJ jacket and started moonwalking toward the stage. I was singing, 'Momma often told me be careful who you love,' and just as I was saying 'be careful,' he tripped on the stairs leading to the stage. His camera went up and over, and instead of securing himself for the fall that was coming, he grabbed the camera mid-air, stiffened his arms straight out, and absolutely ate the stairs and the floor with his back and head.”

“It’s been happening very quickly, and I’m in shock,” he said. “I wasn’t expecting that kind of response. It kind of blew up. Unfortunately,” Cassey said, “most of the inquiries are from models that are just starting out, influencers that promise to tag me on their posts, and a few couples who said they’re looking for someone that won’t charge them ‘an arm and a leg’.”

Every year, the Institute convenes in Las Vegas, Nevada, for an annual “Standards and Operational Directives”conference where working professionals provide their insights and compile a list of what’s “strongly suggested” and those things that must not be tried or attempted (as it degrades the profession because of the lack of quality in images produced).

“Sure, those are great photos,” said Mercheck, a professional photographer in the tourist village of Sentob, Uzbekistan. “But I’m not sure those astronauts can shoot even a four-hour wedding. They were up there for ten days, but can they shoot 10 hours none stop, let alone a three-day Indian wedding here on Earth?” To no surprise, most professional photographers agreed.
