Apple Announces Iphone 2P, “Will Replace Photographers”

CUPERTINO, CA - Apple has announced the making of its newest and boldest iPhone yet!

Introducing the new Apple iPhone2P model. An innovative approach to cell phone photography that will eliminate the need for expensive, professional cameras.

Apple, they announced, has leveled the playing field. No need to hire professional photographers costing upwards of $1200/hr. With the iPhone 2P, anyone can take a professional grade photo.

Apple boast that the iPhone2P will generate high digital quality raw files that anyone can then edit on any of the thousands of editing apps in the Apple Store.

With just a press of the digital button, the camera can create depth of field that once was relegated to high priced prime lenses. The dynamic range of the phone will help the regular iPhone 2P customer take photos at night with incredible clarity and visible sensibility.

To prove their claim, Apple has sent the Iphone 2P to non photographers and instructed them to shoot “anything” they want. To help them learn the new phone, the group was brought to Apple’s headquarters where for 2 weeks, at 40 hours a week, these non photographers were introduced to the rudiments of lighting, posing and composition.

The crash course included: how to use the sun to light subjects; shooting in the shade with a reflector; how to use available light and posing to create contrast and dynamic shadows on your subject; and the 9 lighting patterns. Compositional rules were taught daily. Apple also introduced the group to continuous lighting and how to apply it to their iPhone2P photos.

The group members were given tripods and stands to help them use the newest feature of the phone: long exposure. They were taught on sensor dynamics, prolonged shutter closures and other essentials in understanding night/lowlight photography.

The test group also learned posing of individuals as well as couples. Some opted to learn how to pose families and large groups.

Photographers who have been shooting professionally for a total of 60 years, taught the group of regular people on the best posing, lighting and composition principles to insure photographic appeal when using the iPhone2P.

Also, to make sure that group captured images of their daily life without fanfare, Apple connected each member to a local production company to help them light their scenes effortlessly. Each member had their own lighting team at their disposal when they got home.

On their official press release, Apple showcased the photos of these regular people and they are stunning. As per the press release, the new IPhone2P will be out to market by the fall of 2028 starting at $1200. Folks can a also  opt to take the iPhone2P classes for another $1300. (Subsequent best practice classes will be available on Apple.com.) With this, the release claims, the general population won’t need a well trained pro photographer to take their photos.
